Recently, I have found a lot of gems when it comes to body wash for dry skin. I think the world is finally hearing my cries.
Dove Dermaseries Dry Skin Body Wash
This is my absolute favorite body wash for dry, sensitive skin. Fragrance free and super gentle so it won’t irritate even the most sensitive skin. It’s been my go-to during the dry winter months.
It doesn’t leave a film, but makes my skin so soft and feels supple and moisturized afterwards.
This product will even allow you to skip moisturizer afterwards! It’s that nourishing. But, again, no filmy residue!
It will get you nice and clean, too! It performs well, even after sweaty workouts. It doesn’t lather a whole lot and has more of a lotion consistency.

Olay Cleansing & Nourishing Body Wash
I have been loving this one recently, too. Packed with hyaluronic acid, shea butter and vitamin B3, your skin will be left feeling absolutely amazing.
This body wash lathers great and the smell is wonderful. It’s very subtle and will linger after your shower.
It rinses clean and leaves no residue, but leaves your skin feeling amazingly soft and smooth
They also have a firming and brightening version, but I have not tried those.

Shea Moisture Coconut & Hibiscus Body Wash
You can’t go wrong with anything from this cruelty-free brand. Although, I’m obsessed with the Coconut & Hibiscus scent.
It’s loaded with coconut oil and shea butter, so it will leave you skin moisturized without feeling heavy.
This is my go-to body wash for the summer months. The scent is perfect and will last long after you get out of the shower, but it’s not overpowering.
This one lathers up amazingly to be sulfate free and makes you feel clean and refreshed. This body wash has improved the feel of my skin more than anything I’ve ever tried before.

Eucerin Advanced Cleansing Body Cleanser
This super gentle, soap-free formula is great for those with extremely sensitive and dry skin and for those with eczema.
It’s at an optimal pH for skin (5) so that means it help protect your skins barrier and won’t strip your skin of it’s natural oils.
The formula is also fragrance free, lathers really well and rinses clean. It leaves your skin feeling soft and hydrated. I also find it really soothing during the winter months when my skin is extra dry.
This one also contains alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) which will help with body acne, keratosis pilaris (chicken skin), discolorations, and overall help with smooth, soft skin.

L’Occitane Shower Oil
This is essentially an oil cleanser for your body. It feels so luxurious and makes you feel so pampered! It’s one of my favorites to use when I’m really trying to relax, pamper myself and do some self care.
It’s feels like an oil, but once you add water, it turns into a milky lotion.
It’s made with almond oil and has a delicious soft almond scent.
The benefit of using oil to cleanse is that oils are amazing at getting rid of oil! You know the saying “like dissolves like?” Well that’s exactly right! This oil will dissolve dirt, grease, oil. grime, and anything else you need!
And no, it does not leave any residue whatsoever. It only leaves your skin feeling fresh, soft smooth and amazingly scented!
Eucerin Skin Calming Wash For Dry Skin
This one is very similar to the L’Occitane one, as it’s an oil consistency. But, it doesn’t turn into a milky lotion like the L’occitane one.
It’s packed full of skin loving, omega oils and lipids and nourish skin intensely.
The calming wash is best for people with extremely dry and sensitive skin. It’s another one of my favorites for the dry winter months.
When my skin is super dry and itchy, I use this and my skin is instantly soothed!
It’s also soap-free so it’s super gentle, but will get you nice and clean without leaving a residue!

Alba Very Emollient French Lavender Shower Gel
This is actually a shower gel, but like it’s name, it’s still very moisturizing!
It’s got lots of coconut oil so help moisturize the skin and keep it soft and comfortable.
The scent is so calming! It’s one of my favorites to use after a long, stressful day. They have other scents as well, but I am a big fan of the relaxing lavender.
The formula lathers really well and leaves you feeling nice and clean.
I do prefer to use this one in the spring and summer months, as it isn’t as moisturizing as some of the other ones, but it will still leave your skin feeling soft and hydrated and not stripped.

Aveeno Nourshing Hydrating Body Wash
Aveeno is known for it’s products that calm dry, sensitive skin. Their body wash is no different!
It’s full of colloidal oatmeal that helps calm and protect dry, sensitive skin. If your skin is itchy and sensitive, you need this body wash. Seriously, you will notice a HUGE difference in just one use!
It’s another one of my favorites during the colder months, as it really helps calm my skin when it gets itchy and dry.
Again, they have other scents in this as well if you aren’t a lavender fan. I personally love it and find it super relaxing. It’s not overpowering either!
Aveeno Positively Nourishing Body Wash
OGX Creamy Coconut Ultra Moisture Body Wash
This is an amazing body wash for dry skin that smells absolutely delicious. It’s not a artificial coconut scent, either. It’s coconut combined with vanilla bean to give a subtle hint of island vibes when you get out of the shower.
It’s a lotion consistency but will leave your skin feeling clean without a heavy film.
Y’all, the scent of this stuff is amazing. I can’t say enough about it.
It transforms into a creamy later that leaves your skin feeling soft and smooth. This is another one that’s really helped my skin texture!
