We could all use a little pampering, right? For me, a pamper session is the ultimate self care. Although, between a full time job, this blog and a social life, I don’t have a lot of pampering time.
But, when I do find a little bit of spare time, I always make sure to pamper myself accordingly! Lately, when I’ve been feeling run down, I will actually make time for myself. Yes, it’s hard to do, but I never regret it and it always makes me feel 10x better.
I love having a pamper evening full of relaxing activities. But, like I said, all that extra time is hard to come by. So, I’m making this list of quick ideas to pamper yourself when you just have a few minutes to spare, or you can do the whole list if you have a lot more extra time.
GET COMFY

Whether you like sweats and your baggiest t-shirt or a cute set of silk pajamas, slip into your most comfy attire.
When you’re comfortable, you will be able to relax so much better.
Don’t you love that feeling of coming home and changing out of your work clothes into something more comfortable?
WASH UP
Take a nice bath or a long hot shower, whichever you prefer. And while you’re at it, use a fancy bubble bath or a luxurious sugar scrub. You’ll come out smelling amazing and your skin will feel silky and soft.
I always like to add essential oils like lavender or chamomile to my bath or shower to really up the relaxation factor. Read more about how I use essential oils for relaxation.
My favorite bath and shower products:
Eden’s Garden Good Night Bath Salt Soak
Eden’s Garden Lavender Essential Oil – just add a few drops to your bath!
Dr. Teals Foaming Milk Bath With Milk & Honey
MOISTURIZE
There’s just something about soft, smooth skin that makes you feel so amazing. Plus, moisturizing is super important for skin health!
I especially love to slather on a rich moisturizer after getting out of the shower or bath. Everything soaks in and the moisturizer traps the water in your skin so that your skin is extra hydrated!
Hempz Hemp Seed Oil Body Moisturizer With Shea Butter
Eden’s Garden Goodnight Body Oil
Jergens Wet Skin Body Moisturizer
Advanced Clinical Coconut Oil Cream
FACE MASK
Face masks are a great and quick way to do a little pampering. If you’re oily or acne prone, do a clay face mask. Or, if you have dry skin do a hydrating face mask or sheet mask.
Wash your face, apply your mask and you’ll be on your way to glowing skin in just a few minutes!
I personally love skincare, so any time I can treat my skin, I go for it! It makes me feel so much better and relaxed.

HAIR TREATMENT
Since I’ve been taking better care of my hair I’ve been doing a lot more hair treatments, and my hair has been loving me for it!
There are even a lot of great DIY hair masks out there if you don’t want to buy one.
You can customize your hair treatment based on your concerns, like breakage, dullness, split ends, etc. There’a s hair mask out there for every concern.

Marc Anthony Grow Long Anti-Breakage Hair Mask
Pantene Rescue Shot Hair Ampoule

LIGHT A CANDLE
I have a candle lit right next to me as I am writing this! I have a giant stockpile of candles because I can’t quit buying the new scents that come out.
Candles come so many different scents, and depending on your taste you can find a lot of great ones that are mild and relaxing.
I love lighting a candle and turning the lights off because it creates such a cozy atmosphere that instantly relaxes me.
DIFFUSE ESSENTIAL OILS
Diffusing essential oils is one of the best ways to relax after a long day. There are so many oils out there with different benefits and they smell great.
Essential oils are great for relaxation, sleep, stress relief, immunity, and even an afternoon pick me up. All you need is a diffuser, some water and a few drops of your favorite essential oil.
You can learn how to get started with essential oils here.
My favorite essential oils:
Cinnamon Bark– great to add to any blend or single oil to add some spice
Lavender– calming, light scent
Lemon – a perfect afternoon pick me up scent when you need a boost of energy
Sunday Morning Blend – beautiful, relaxing spring scent
Anxiety Ease – my favorite blend!
Fighting Five – great for immunity
Sleep Ease– puts me right to sleep at night
MAKE A CUP OF TEA
I used to hate herbal teas. Turns out, I just didn’t try the right ones! Every one has different taste and you will need to do some experimenting to find which blends you like best.
For relaxation, I love Sleepy Time Tea or this Chamomile Tea. This variety pack is also a great way to go if you’re new to teas. That way you can try a few out and see what you like the most.

GIVE YOURSELF A PEDICURE
Fill up your tub with some hot water, add some epsom salts and soak your feet! Not only will this be relaxing, but your feet will feel so nice afterwards. I love doing this after a long day of being on my feet. I like to soak for at least 15 minutes, but I highly recommend soaking for around 30 minutes.
Then, use a foot file or pumice stone to get rid of calluses and get the softest feet ever!
Finally, slather your feet in a foot lotion, put on some socks and go to bed! Your feet will be smooth, soft and moisturized when you wake up!
40% Urea Foot Lotion an absolute must have if you have dry, cracked or calloused feet!!
POUR A GLASS OF WINE

There’s nothing better than a glass of wine after a long stressful day, am I right? Sometimes you just need a little wine to relax after your day.
This one you can easily combine with another relaxing activity like a bath or watching a new tv show.
TUNE INTO YOUR FAVORITE SHOW
When I have a bad day, the only thing I look forward to is coming home and watching Grace and Frankie. Having a TV Show that you can turn to that will make you laugh and let you escape from the day.
Whether it’s a show that you’ve already seen a thousand times, or a new Netflix documentary, as long as you enjoy it, it will allow you to forget about everything going on.

What are your favorite activities to pamper yourself? I encourage you to try out one of these activities tonight and see how much better you feel! Better yet, do all of them for the ultimate pamper routine.
